The Penang Cup 2023 welcomes 50 teams from Malaysia, Indonesia and Hong Kong to Stadium Mini Permatang Rawa on 26 and 27 August.

Tournament Formats
Under 6 Tournament Overview
The U6 competition will feature 6 teams and 1 competition.
Group Stages
In the Under 6 group stages, teams will play round robin matches in 1 group of 6 teams. Each team will play 4 group stage matches on Saturday and 1 group stage match on Sunday.
Playoff Stages
Cup Competition
The Cup competition will feature the 3 teams who finish 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the group stages. Teams will play in a round robin league, playing each other once.
Prizes: 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals
Playoff
The Under 6 Playoff will feature the 3 teams who finish 4th, 5th and 6th in the group stages. Teams will play in a round robin league, playing each other once.
Prizes: Participation medals for all teams
Under 8 Tournament Overview
The U8 competition will feature 8 teams and 2 competitions.
Group Stages
On day 1 of the tournament, teams will be split into 2 groups of 4 and will play 3 group stage games.
Playoff Stages
Cup Competition
The Cup competition will feature all 8 teams from the group stages. Teams will play in a Quarter Final, Semi Final, Final and 3rd/4th Place Playoff.
Teams who lose in the Cup Quarter Finals will advance to the Plate Semi Finals.
Prizes: Trophy and medals for the champion. Medals for 2nd and 3rd place.
Plate Competition
The Plate competition will feature the 4 losers of the Cup Quarter Finals. Teams will play in a Semi Final, Final and 3rd/4th Place Playoff.
Prizes: Trophy and medals for the champion. Medals for 2nd and 3rd place.
Under 10 Tournament Overview
The U10 competition will feature 8 teams and 2 competitions.

The Plate competition will feature the 2 teams who finish 5th in the group stages plus the 4 losers of the Cup Quarter Finals. Teams will play round robin matches in 2 groups of 3.
The winners of each Plate Group will advance to the Plate Final. The 2nd place finishers in each group will play in the Plate 3rd/4th Place Playoff. The 3rd place finishers in each group will play in the Plate 5th/6th Playoff.

Under 16 Tournament Overview
