The Penang Cup 2024 welcomes 50 teams from Malaysia, Indonesia and Hong Kong to Stadium Mini Permatang Rawa on 27 and 28 July.

Tournament Formats
Under 5 Tournament Overview
The U5 competition will feature 6 teams and 1 competition.
Group Stages
In the Under 5 group stages, teams will play round robin matches in 1 group of 6 teams. Each team will play 4 group stage matches on Saturday and 1 group stage match on Sunday.
Playoff Stages
Cup Competition
The Cup competition will feature the 3 teams who finish 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the group stages. Teams will play in a round robin league, playing each other once.
Prizes: 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals
Playoff
The Under 5 Playoff will feature the 3 teams who finish 4th, 5th and 6th in the group stages. Teams will play in a round robin league, playing each other once.
Prizes: Participation medals for all teams
Under 7 & girls 13 Tournament Overview
The U7 & G13 competition will feature 8 teams and 2 competitions.
Group Stages
On day 1 of the tournament, teams will be split into 2 groups of 4 and will play 3 group stage games.
Playoff Stages
Cup Competition
The Cup competition will feature all 8 teams from the group stages. Teams will play in a Quarter Final, Semi Final, Final and 3rd/4th Place Playoff.
Teams who lose in the Cup Quarter Finals will advance to the Plate Semi Finals.
Prizes: Trophy and medals for the champion. Medals for 2nd and 3rd place.
Plate Competition
The Plate competition will feature the 4 losers of the Cup Quarter Finals. Teams will play in a Semi Final, Final and 3rd/4th Place Playoff.
Prizes: Trophy and medals for the champion. Medals for 2nd and 3rd place.
Under 9, UNDER 11, UNDER 13, UNDER 15 & Girls 17 Tournament Overview
The U9, U11, U13, U15 & G17 competition will feature 10 teams and 2 competitions.
Group Stages
On day 1 of the tournament, teams will be split into 2 groups of 5, and will play 4 group stage games.
Playoff Stages
Cup Competition
The Cup competition will feature the 8 teams who finish 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the group stages. Teams will play in a Quarter Final, Semi Final, Final and 3rd/4th Place Playoff.
Teams who lose in the Cup Quarter Finals will move to the Plate Group Stages.
Prizes: Trophy and medals for the champion. Medals for 2nd and 3rd place.
Plate Competition
The Plate competition will feature the 2 teams who finish 5th in the group stages plus the 4 losers of the Cup Quarter Finals. Teams will play round robin matches in 2 groups of 3.
The winners of each Plate Group will advance to the Plate Final. The 2nd place finishers in each group will play in the Plate 3rd/4th Place Playoff. The 3rd place finishers in each group will play in the Plate 5th/6th Playoff.
Prizes: Trophy and medals for the champion. Medals for 2nd and 3rd place.
